Apollo Alnac 4G tyres were chosen as the OE fitment for the next generation Baleno from Maruti Suzuki. Apollo Tyres, the leading tyre maker, would be the suppliers in the domestic market to Maruti Suzuki for the new Baleno, which would come fitted with Apollo Alnac 4Gs in two sizes, 195/55 R16 and 185/65 R15.
Apollo Alnac 4G, since its launch in 2013, has gained rapid acceptance from multiple OEMs and the replacement market customers. Along with being the most preferred choice for passenger vehicle OEMs, as per internal estimates, it is now the highest selling tyre in the entire passenger vehicle segment in India. Apollo Alnac 4G tyres have been customised to meet the low rolling resistance, increased durability and enhanced riding comfort requirements for the new Baleno.
Commenting on this new OE fitment, Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA), Apollo Tyres Ltd said “Our focused approach towards upgrading our product technology to meet evolving customer requirements has helped us win several customers.
