Hyundai Motor Company has today launched its facelifted Santa Fe with the redesigned model of the popular car set to create superior driving experiences for customers in the Middle East and Africa.
Established as one of Hyundai’s iconic brands, the latest Santa Fe represents another step forward for design, performance and innovation.
Totally transformed, the Santa Fe creates an aura of luxury and prestige, offering a dynamic driving performance and is matched with advanced technology features to meet the complete needs of an entire family.
The Santa Fe has been completely redesigned to convey a look of strength, magnificence and highly redefined luxury. It stands out thanks to its bold exterior and the front section brings out a fresh and more modern look compared to its predecessor models.
The eye-catching cascading grille has been improved, with its signature geometric patterned-inlay integrated with the headlights. The ‘T’-shaped Daytime Running Lights along with the sculpted front bumper offer a highly distinctive presence and completes the edgy and powerful appearance.
At the back, the rear bumper showcases a low and wide look that conveys stability. Its bold stance is reflected by the sweeping horizontal line, connecting the combination lights and tailgate garnish. The wrap-around combination lamps enhance the look even further thanks to a highly-distinctive high-tech design while the premium alloy wheel designs also match Santa Fe’s classy and robust style.
The high-console is equipped with shift-by-wire transmission buttons, offering improved operational convenience as well as the addition of a security feature to help prevent accidental shifting. The Santa Fe also comes with a spectrum of 64 ambient lighting colours and a smartphone wireless charging system.
To help create fun and remarkable journeys, the Santa Fe comes installed with a wide array of technology features. The standard 8-inch display audio touchscreen unit provides hands-free convenience with Bluetooth connection as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The car also comes with a 10.25inch Audio, Video and Navigation (AVN) system, featuring powerful capabilities.
At 4,785mm (exterior, length), 1,900mm (width) and 1,710mm (height), the Santa Fe is bigger than the previous model. With the fitting of Hyundai’s new Gen 3 platform, second-row passengers can enjoy more legroom (1,060mm) as well as benefitting from increased cargo space that has a capacity of 634l.
The Santa Fe comes with a choice of four engines bringing incredible power and cleaner emissions. The Santa Fe is the first Hyundai model to be fitted with the next-generation powertrain ‘Smartstream D2.2’ engine which has a maximum output of 202 ps and a maximum torque of 45.0kgf.m.
