Linglong Tire Co. Ltd successfully started production of PCR tires at its Hubei Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hubei Linglong) facility. The company marked the milestone with a formal event to mark PCR Commissioning on January 11, 2020 in Jingmen, China. The company has successfully commissioned production of TBR tires at the same facility about a month ago. The event was attended by almost 600 guests including dignitaries from Jingmen, Hubei, China Rubber Industry Association and Linglong Tire.
Hubei Linglong is Linglong’s fourth factory in China and occupies an area of almost 9300,000 square meters. The facility was set with the goal of producing 12 million PCR tires 2.4 million TBR tires and 60,000 OTR tires once it reaches its full operational capacity. The estimated sales revenue of these products is expected to reach USD 710 million. The Hubei factory is positioned as a green intelligent factory that would play a key role in promoting the company’s transformation and upgrading to intelligent production and high-value products. Hubei Linglong will help Linglong to cater better to the needs of OEMs and retail customers in Hubei Province and nearby areas, thus further enhancing its market share and its competitive edge.
Wang Feng, the chairman of Linglong Tire, pointed out that Hubei Linglong would strive for the early realization of full production with support from the Jingmen municipal government and industrial associations. It would give back to society through production of more and better products in addition to contributing to the local economic development through the full production of the factory.
