Tasjeel, in collaboration with Sharjah Police, pilots its drive through service at Tasjeel Auto Village centre in Sharjah.
The drive through service is in adherence to UAE health authorities and precautionary measures for the safety of the Sharjah community. The drive through service includes testing of number plates, lights, tires, paint condition, under-hood condition and mileage of the vehicle.
Earlier, basic testing and registration services required a physical inspection; thus consuming more time. With the help of advanced visual inspection, customers can complete their vehicle inspections from the comfort of their vehicles within two minutes. A testing report is then ready for customers at the checkout point.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC Group, said: “At ENOC Group, we strive to serve the needs of the nation by deploying innovative technologies. The COVID-19 outbreak has forced many organisations to re-evaluate how they run their operations; and we took it upon us to turn these challenges into opportunities.
“We are committed to continue offering our customers best in class services. We are hopeful to receive a positive outcome from this pilot; and remain committed to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.”
The visual renewal inspection service is available for already registered vehicles that are above 2015 models. The site will be open from Saturday to Thursday from 7 AM to 9 PM. The pilot service will be available for customers to use for three months.
Tasjeel, the UAE’s one-stop-shop for all vehicle testing and registration needs, undertakes all mandatory tests that are required for vehicle registration. Currently, Tasjeel owns and operates 21 sites and four mobile units in Dubai and Sharjah – all of which use state-of-the-art equipment. All Tasjeel sites are equipped with the latest testing and inspection machinery and have professionally qualified staff members.
