Leading specialty wheel designer and manufacturer, Forgeline Motorsports has added the ZH1 Monoblock wheel to its product line. This wheel will now join Forgeline’s renowned range of performance wheels.
The wheel has a striking design with cutting-edge styling and is a unique precision-machined forged 6061-T6 aluminum wheel having 10 asymmetric I-beamed Y-spokes which are grouped together in opposing pairs. Thanks to its distinctive design, the ZH1 is a good choice for car enthusiasts who are looking for high quality lightweight wheels with a unique style and outstanding performance. The Forgeline team used special engineering and machining deep into the edge of the mounting pad in order to connect the spokes deep into the center. The spokes extend right to the rim edge and this makes the wheel appear larger than it really is.
Commenting on the new wheel, Dave Schardt, President of Forgeline Motorsports said that monoblock wheels are some of the most popular products in the Forgeline range of products. He added that Forgeline’s goal when designing and creating the ZH1 wheel was to bring yet another one-of-a-kind design to its customers. Forgeline products are known for their outstanding craftsmanship, quality and performance, and the ZH1 combines all these three qualities in one exceptional wheel.
Forgeline’s fully-forged one-piece monoblock wheels are machined from a single 6061-T6 aluminum forging. The outcome is an extremely stiff, exceptionally strong and incredibly lightweight wheel. The ZH1 wheel is available in 18-, 19-, 20-, 21- and 22-inch diameters. It is also available in a variety of colors and finishes and is meant for modern exotic sport and luxury cars including the Corvette Z06, Ferrari 458/488, Audi R8, Acura NSX, Lamborghini Huracan/Aventedor, Porsche 918/GT3/GT3RS, as well as Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes, and BMW models.
