The tires from Toyo are known for their durability and ability to tackle even the toughest situations on the road, and off road. Last year the brand had signed on as the the company’s US subsidiary, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp had signed on as the Official Tire of Tough Mudder, which is billed as the toughest event on the planet. This year, the company has announced that it will be renewing its sponsorship and will benefit from having branding opportunities for all Tough Mudder contests held across America. Tough Mudder will hold more than 60 events across the world in 2016.
Tough Mudder contest essentially consists of team events in which teams negotiate a 10-12 mile military-style obstacle course course that would be ultimate test of the strength, mental and physical toughness of the contestants. There is no specific time limit for completing the course and the teams are rated on their teamwork and grit. In each event, the participants overcome highly challenging yet safe world-class obstacles that are not faced in any other contest in the world.
Obstacle include a fearsome ten-foot wall angled towards the participants called Toyo Tires® Skidmarked. Mudders not only have to climb the wall, but they also have to then clim downwards past a row of Toyo® tires.
Another event that belongs to the Tough Mudder brand family is Mudderella, and Toyo is the official sponsor for this event as well. It is an obstacle course of about five to seven miles for women that has been designed by women

She added that through the branding opportunities, the company will not only be able to reach the spectators at the events, but will also be able to increase brand awareness among fans across a variety of mediums.
