Toyo Tire’s subsidiary in the US, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has announced that it has launched its Toyo NanoEnergy M671 super regional drive tire. This tire is the latest tire to join the firm’s range of commercial tires and offers customers the benefits of maximum fuel efficiency, long tire life and superior traction. The tire has also received SmartWay certification. In the case of this tire, Toyo developed improved tread compounds using the firm’s proprietary Nano Balance Technology to help it provide the best performance on the road.
The M671 tire also comes with Toyo Tire’s advanced e-balance design, which minimizes the strain at the bead area and the belt edge for giving the tire greater stability and enhances tire life even while supporting heavy loads. It also helps maintain the tire’s tread profile. Another distinctive feature of the tire is its optimized wide tread pattern with 3D sipes. These sipes offer the benefits of even contact pressure, higher level of traction and reduce irregular wear for longer tire life.
The tire offers excellent retreadability thanks to the combination of a high elongation top belt and stone ejectors which protect the casing from cuts and damage. The uniformity of the cap and base compound increases wear resistance and contribute to maximum fuel efficiency. The incorporation of advanced tread and sidewall compounds also provide increased fuel efficiency.
Commenting on the new tire, Dave Johnston, director of sales for commercial tires at Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. said that the Toyo NanoEnergy M671 super regional drive tire signals a new segment specific product for the evolving freight market. The range of NanoEnergy tires encompasses several fuel saving components while they also provide the durability that is needed in higher scrub super regional fleets. Fleets can use these tires to maximize the return on their investment and the life of the tires that they use.
The new NanoEnergy M671 super regional drive tire is available in three SKUs: 295/75R22.5 G/14, 11R22.5 G/14, and 11R22.5 H/16.
