Apollo Tyres has opened its first tire service center in Malaysia. The first Apollo Truck Tyre Zone (ATTZ) will serve as a one stop solution centre for the tire related needs of commercial fleets. Appolo has opened the new center as part of its drive to provide its consumers with easy access to its extensive services.
The center features the latest automotive technologies and will be managed by Sin Chu Hin, which is one of the top tire specialists in the southern region of Malaysia. The state-of-the-art truck service center will serve as platform for bringing together Apollo’s extensive experience in truck and bus radials with Sin Chu Hin’s 80-year long local experience for a range of services and solutions for the company’s fleet customers in Malaysia. This would reinforce Apollo’s commitment to the Malaysian automotive industry.
In addition to providing application-based tire recommendation, the ATTZ has state-of-the-art facilities which include a computerized truck tire alignment machine, automatic tire changer, nitrogen inflator. Customers will benefit from end-to-end tire related services for trucks and buses. Such services are expected to help them reduce their maintenance cost and fuel consumption. In view of the innovations in the dynamics of the vehicle platform, the ATTZ also has a training center that will guide its consumers through their purchase decision.
“We see a vast opportunity in Batu Pahat, which is a thriving business destination at the tip of Peninsular Malaysia, specially for our truck radials. The ATTZ is, in fact the first of several truck service centers we are planning to open in partnership with our valued business partners in the ASEAN region,” added Shubhro Ghosh, Group Head, ASEAN, Middle East and Africa region for Apollo Tyres.
In conjunction with the grand launch and the upcoming Hari Raya festive period in Malaysia, Apollo Tyres is offering customers exclusive vouchers with every tire purchase. The ATTZ will also offer special service packages for all types of fleets in the market.
