Tesla has made an update to its mobile app that now makes it possible to remotely warm the seats of your car before you leave for work in winter weather. This will further enhance the driving experience for Tesla users. The Tesla app can now be used to remotely activate the heated seats of a Tesla model. All that the motorist needs to do is to tap on that part of the car’s virtual model within the Tesla application. If the Tesla model that the motorist owns comes with a heated steering wheel, the app can also be used to activate the steering wheel remotely so that it is also heated. It is even possible for users to choose the level of heat they would like for their seats, so that they are just the right temperature.
Another new feature that Tesla has added to its app is the option to schedule a service appointment from within the application. It is possible for Tesla drivers to set the date, time and location that is most convenient for them and to give a quick summary about what their service issue is, if needed.
Both of the new features are available with version 3.8.0 of Tesla’s mobile app. Motorists will need to update not just the app, but also the software in their Tesla vehicle if they wante to use the remote heating feature.
