Sygic, a company which is based in Slovakia has just launched a new generation of its Head-Up Display add-on for its Sygic GPS Navigation app. The company which was one of the winners of the CES 2020 Innovation Award is known for its navigation app, which is used by over 200 million motorists across the globe. The company is known for making the first ever turn-by-turn navigation app for the iPhone.
The new generation of the Head-Up Display add-on comes with advanced customization options that make it possible for the motorists to project specially optimized navigation instructions on the windshield of their car. They could simultaneously keep their eyes on the road and of course, this would further enhance their comfort and safety on the road.
The Sygic GPS Navigation has a smart feature which grabs what is shown on the smartphone screen and projects it on the windshield so that the driver can easily see the routing instructions, speed limits, and other useful information even at night without the screen blinding the driver.
The new generation of Head-Up Display makes it possible for motorists to customize the information absed on their needs and preferences. They can choose from a wide range of useful layouts, colors, and content including the estimated time of arrival (ETA), speed limits, incline, and the distance to the destination.
The add-on makes it possible to view three pieces of information on the screen at the same time.
Commenting on the new version of the add-on, Sygic’s Head of Product Lukas Dermek said, “The Head-Up Display is a fraction of the price of other available solutions on the market and does its job perfectly.”
“The instructions and all the information appear to be floating in the viewing angle of the driver when looking at the road, thereby increasing their safety and comfort,” he added.
The new generation of the Head-Up display is available in Sygic GPS Navigation for both Apple and Android.
