MEYLE has rounded off its rebranding campaign with a complete revamp of the company’s website. The brand which is known for its technical expertise, the high quality of its products and top notch customer service began its exercise in rebranding with the launch of its new tagline “Driver’s best friend” at the 2016 Frankfurt Automechanika show. Now, the company has rounded off the rebranding campaign with a complete revamp of its website to give it a modern and user friendly look.
Staying true to the core brand values, the sleek new website has been optimized to dynamically adjust to being viewed on any device, irrespective of whether it is a tablet, PC or smartphone. The navigation options have been revised to become highly intuitive and as part of being the driver’s best friend, gearheads, workshop mechanics, and wholesale agents can easily find the information they are looking for on the site. All the information has been sorted on the basis of product groups with dedicated van, truck and passenger car product pages and a download center for news and technical information. There are snapshots of product highlights, a lot of information on the brand’s product groups, and plenty of free downloads (including installation information). As part of the revamping exercise, the landing page of the online catalogue has been revised and thumbnail images have been integrated to create an outstanding first impression. Search functionality has been improved with a free-text field for searching the site by vehicle make, model or brand. Plans are also afoot to make the site available in nine languages: German, English, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Chinese.
The homepage clearly reflects MEYLE’s three product lines: MEYLE ORIGINAL, MEYLE HD and MEYLE PD. While the MEYLE HD line focuses on the automotive aftermarket and comprises over 750 technically enhanced products which are designed and manufactured in-house for better durability and quality. These parts offer extended service life and come with a unique four-year guarantee. The MELYE ORIGINAL product line comprises about 20,000 high-grade MEYLE parts which can be used for almost all popular makes and models. The MEYLE PD product line includes 1,800 quality-enhanced brake discs and pads which offer users the benefits of state-of-the-art product finish and excellent braking performance.
From September 2016, MEYLE’s parent company Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG has been operating its own website (available at www.wulfgaertner.com) offering information on the company, its worldwide locations and career options.
