With the advent of summer, many residents in the UAE are planning long road trips to neighboring emirates and other GCC countries in order to spend time with their loved ones and get a break from their daily routines. Comfort is an essential factor when it comes to road trips and this is why it is important to get a good car tint job before you travel, if you don’t have one.
Hamid Moaref, Marketing Manager of Orange Auto says that there are at least six very good reasons why you should be tinting your car. Tinting not only reduces the heat retention in a car, but also helps you save energy. The vehicle would use less petrol and the battery would last a lot longer as it would be using less energy for air conditioning. Tinting helps minimize the effect of harmful UV rays which can have an adverse effect on the interiors of the car as they cause fading, drying out and even cracks in the interiors, especially in the case of leather. Privacy is also a concern, especially when you are travelling with your families. Driving is more comfortable due to glare reduction. With a tint job, you no longer have to worry about the impact of the sun directly on your eyes. Tinting also goes a long way towards making your car look good.
Hamid Moaref said, “We use only 3M window films as they have the best reputation in the market. They are the inventors of the window film and have considerable expertise in this product category. They are completely metal free and they will not interfere with the navigation system of your vehicle and your mobile phone technology. With many models now having connectivity features, this is something we should be concerned about. 3M window films are on the recommended list and are approved by the Skin Cancer Foundation. Motorists should not make any compromises when it comes to their health.”
There are many options when it comes to getting a tint job, but Moaref recommends that it is better to get it done by experienced professionals like those at Orange Auto. They would be familiar with the existing regulations and would use only the best quality materials. It is also important to ensure that the film is applied without any bubbles, creases or debris. Removing widow film is even tougher than applying it, so it is important to do the job right the first time
