ACDelco has expanded its range of High Reserve Capacity (HR) batteries. These batteries are specifically designed for those applications where higher reserve capacity (RC) is more important or needed by the original equipment manufacturer.
The seven new part numbers can be used to cover over 64 million vehicles on the roads and have been identified with SKUs beginning with the letters “HR”. Of the seven, two SKUs include medium-duty and heavy-duty vehicle applications. ACDelco offers a free replacement warranty ranging from 30 to 42 months for these new part numbers.
From a price perspective, the new batteries are offered at a competitive price when compared to ACDelco Professional Silver and ACDelco Professional Gold batteries. Thus, the new batteries from ACDelco will serve as a cost-effective and dependable solution for applications that are either difficult, have high levels of electronics or significant electrical loads.
Speaking about the new products, John Munsell, product specialist, ACDelco said that with the wide range of accessories that are now available, it is now important to power these accessories as well as start the vehicle. He added that the release of the new HR batteries highlights ACDelco’s ongoing commitment to stay at the forefront of battery technology.
AC Delco is a subsidiary of General Motors that offers customers a wide range of over 90,000 parts across 37 lines. The company offers original equipment parts for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac, as well as premium aftermarket parts for most other makes and models.
