Revamped RAV4 Expected to be One of Most Popular Models in 2016

Al-Futtaim Motors, which is the sole distributor for Toyota models in the UAE, has just launched the newly redesigned RAV4 in the country. For over two decades, the RAV4 has been one of the brand’s best selling crossovers in the region. Based on this history, the revamped RAV4 is expected to be one of the most popular models in 2016. The exterior elements have been restyled while the interiors have become more luxurious to give the vehicle a comprehensive makeover. The RAV 4 is a perfect choice for those with a desire for adventure as it demonstrates outstanding fuel efficiency and offers an exciting driving experience in addition to its interesting looks.

The 2016 RAV 4 is available in four different grades – EX and VX (4×2), as well as GXR and VXR (4×4 full-time). It is powered by a fuel-efficient 2.5L naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine that has an output of 177bhp at 6,000rpm and 23.8 kg-m of torque at 4,100rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission to offer motorists a smooth journey on all kinds of surfaces.

In the 2016 RAV4, the front fascia has been redesigned with DRL and LED headlights. The LED tail lights in the rear too have been redesigned and the model has an edgier, sportier look with the new 18-inch alloy wheels. The interiors are now more comfortable thanks to the Two-tone leather seats, 7-inch navigation system and an optional all-new 8-inch rear seat entertainment system on select models.

The model does not lag behind when it comes to safety with features like class-leading six airbags, Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Assist Control, Traction Control (TRC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

The 2016 RAV4 is now available for sale at all Al-Futtaim Motors showrooms across the UAE.
