The all-new Infiniti Q30 premium active compact car has earned the best performing “small family car” award in the Euro NCAP assessment of 2015 models. Euro NCAP is the European New Car Assessment Program and is the leading independent vehicle safety organization in Europe. The announcement of this honor for the Infiniti Q30 coincides with the retail launch of the new model in the European retail market.
The Q30 performed well in tests with regard to all the safety parameters defined by NCAP like crash test performance and protection for children and pedestrians. The model bested all its competitors in the segment to earn the NCAP award and comes with a host of innovative technological features. The Q30 had also earned the highest possible five-star rating In Euro NCAP’s latest safety tests that were held at the end of 2015.
Commenting on the award, François Goupil de Bouillé, Vice President of Infiniti Europe, Middle East and Africa expressed his satisfaction and said that it highlighted the excellent qualities of the brand’s first premium compact car and the progress that has been made in the development of innovative safety technology for all Infiniti models. He added that the company has always focused on giving customers a unique driving experience in tandem with delivering maximum safety for all occupants.
