Ford Middle East has said that it will be launching the latest version of the Ford Transit-based ambulance on a regional basis at the 2019 Arab Health Exhibition which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The model comes with the latest modifications and features to cater to the needs of the local and regional emergency services industry.
The new Transit T-350 ambulance that is being displayed at the show was developed for the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) and was customized by Horton and American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) in the US. It was fitted with the very latest patient care and safety equipment by Ferno-Washington, and telematics systems by Ferno-ACETECH.
The ambulance is a converted Ford Transit T-350, and is equipped with the latest automotive, telecommunications and medical technology in one integrated package. The vehicle can be customized to suit different requirements based on the nature of the provider. The companies using such vehicles can range from healthcare centers to patient transfer services, school health facilities, maternity and child care health units and homes for the elderly.
Across the world, more and more companies are coming to depend on the Ford Transit van over the past 50 years. The vehicle offers matchless versatility, and exceptional value for money, thus making it a popular choice.
In the Middle East, the Ford Transit is one of the frontrunners in the ambulance segment with more and more emergency services organizations opting to use Transit-based ambulances.
The all-new Transit T-350 Ambulance can be seen on the Ferno-Washington in Hall 1, Stand E30 throughout the exhibition.
