Al Masaood Automobiles, which is the sole distributor of Infiniti in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, is promoting the Infiniti QX50 by holding a photography contest that will help identify the most promising young photographers in Abu Dhabi. Open to students of NYUAD (New York University Abu Dhabi), the contest will help to develop budding photographers in the region. Students will have a chance to test drive and shoot the latest Infiniti model QX50 against the backdrop of well known tourist attractions in the capital like the Emirates Palace Hotel, the Sheikh Zayed Grand and the Yas Marina Circuit.
Speaking about the contest, Humayun Alam, General Manager-Sales at Al Masaood Automobiles said that the company believed in identifying and developing local talent at the university level. The photography contest will not only help students hone their skills but will also encourage them to think out of the box and extend their scope to include automobiles as subjects.
With its striking design, the Infiniti QX50 has proved to be quite a challenge, with students choosing to capture the burgundy Qx50 in a wide range of settings including broad daylight, sunsets and even night time with contestants exploring the ‘night-time’ photography mode. All the photos received as entries will be published on social media and the public will be allowed to vote and choose the winners, who will receive valuable prizes.
