Gears 5

Gears 5 is a third-person cover-based multiplayer shooter game that is ideal for hours of entertainment on the Xbox One and PC. The sixth title in the franchise about a dystopian world that started with Gears of War in 2006 is well worth its price with its wide range of characters and incredible looks and sound. Familiarity with the previous titles is not essential as The Coalition has a brief movie that helps you to catch up on everything regarding the Earth-like planet in a futuristic world and terrible enemies called The Locust and The Swarm. The story is interesting enough to keep action going with slower, more carefully paced portions in a game that has plenty of fast but fun action sequences. The Horde mode in which players team up to take on progressively tougher enemies is ideal to tackle with friends. Players can opt for roles of tank, engineer, scout, offense or support based on their preferences. This is one game that is pure, undiluted fun.
