Raybestos has expanded its range of calipers by launching premium Element3 new plated brake calipers and Raybestos R-Line remanufactured plated caliper part numbers. This announcement was made by Kristin Grons, marketing manager for Brake Parts Inc (BPI), who said that the company has added even more caliper part numbers for popular domestic and import nameplate applications. The expansion of coverage means that the company can cater better to the needs of customers and ensure that they have parts when they need them.
Grons said that the new and remanufactured calipers from Raybestos are plated to provide peak performance even in the harshest conditions.
The Raybestos Element3 new plated calipers have 100-percent new components, no core return and lower warranty rates. They provide hassle-free installation and optimal performance and have been designed and made to strict Raybestos engineering specifications.
These award-winning premium calipers offer customers OE level precision but cost only a fraction of the cost of OE. The aluminum or plated castings provide superior corrosion prevention and meet (ASTM B117) 96-hour salt spray corrosion resistance test standards. This range of calipers is ideal for use in the case of high VIO and problem applications, and includes plated brackets, where needed.
Raybestos R-Line plated calipers are high quality, remanufactured calipers that offer quality and fit like OE and deliver continued functionality and high-quality appearance through an extended life. The company’s proprietary RPT Rust Prevention Technology provides all-weather zinc plating which is comparable to OE. The calipers meet (ASTM B117) 96-hour salt spray corrosion resistance test standards and industry-leading processes and testing ensure reliable performance in harsh conditions. The range of products has been engineered so that they offer safe, leak-free operation and they come with bracket, seals and bleeder screws.
