Bugatti is a brand that is known for its luxury sports cars, including the Chiron, which is one of the fastest models in the world. Now the company is leveraging its reputation for style and luxury to team up with the Luxury Living Group to launch the new Bugatti Home Collection at the ongoing Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Italy. This new collection will celebrate the epitome of French luxury and is inspired by the artistic vision of Bugatti’s founder, Ettore Bugatti. It will complement Bugatti’s Lifestyle collection.
Carlo Bugatti, Ettore Bugatti’s father was a designer of luxury furniture and many of his designs are exhibited in museums across the world today. The pieces belonging to the Bugatti Home Collection have been designed by Italian architect Carlo Colombo under the guidance of Bugatti Design and in collaboration with Etienne Salome, head of Bugatti Interior Design. Under license from Bugatti, the Bugatti Home Collection will be manufactured and distributed by Luxury Living Group.
“Our distinctive character is increasingly moving towards a Bugatti global lifestyle”, says Massimiliano Ferrari, Head of Bugatti Brand Lifestyle for Bugatti Automobiles. “By complementing our current lifestyle collection with an interior design proposal, we are now taking another step ahead.”
Alberto Vignatelli, CEO and Chairman of Luxury Living Group said that the Bugatti Home collection pays tribute to the flamboyant nature of the Bugatti spirit with its meticulous attention to Art, Forme, Technique and its unique design.
Elements that are typical of the Bugatti brand like its two-tone color scheme, the famous horseshoe shaped front grille of Bugatti vehicles will be recreated in the shapes of the furniture that is part of the collection. The complex design and cutting edge technology that is used in Bugatti models is showcased by the use of carbon fiber, steel, glass and leather in the historical colors of the Bugatti palette to create surfaces, bases and upholsteries for the furniture collection.Colors used include sliver grey, Blue Royale, and the classic cognac color.
Components of the Bugatti Home Collection include the Lydia bed, a Cobra Chair, Royale sofa and armchair, Royale lounge table, Atlantic chair, Atlantic table and an Ettore desk with board and chair.
All the pieces are heavily inspired by designs that were created by Carlo Bugatti and use the latest technology in combination with the finest materials like cognac leather to provide maximum comfort and style.
