BKT has launched a new mini website for the Xtractor 2018 which is all set to leave on its adventurous journey. BKT is one of the key sponsors for this project and the mini website dedicated to Xtractor 2018, Xtractor.bkt-tires.com, has been live from March 26 with the aim of engaging with audience who are interested in the trip. The entire Xtractor adventure can be followed through the official BKT social channels and will be updated with weekly comments and real-time news. Followers will thus be privy to the latest developments and can participate in the emotions of the team as they take on breathtaking challenges while driving the McCormick tractors equipped with BKT tires on the trail of unexplored routes.
Thos who go to the website, Xtractor.bkt-tires.com can get an idea about the different aspects of this journey through unspoiled South-African landscapes. These aspects range from naturalistic to solidarity-based, from ethnographic to historic-geographical. The website will also showcase events where the company will have a starring role as the team meets local tire dealers, participates in the Nampo trade fair and in two humanitarian projects.
The website has three main sections – the Expedition section, Driver section and the Route section. The Expedition section gives details of the project and of BKT’s role as a sponsor and tire supplier including the display of the products that have been used to equip the McCormick tractors, i.e. Agrimax Force and Agrimax RT 657. The Drivers section gives the details of six drivers who are undertaking the journey while the route section gives a detailed picture of the entire journey through comprehensive photo documentation.
The website will serve as a platform updated with daily facts, a source of information integrating preset textual contents and video-photographic material composed by the photojournalist on the spot and a variety of info-graphic solutions that highlights interesting aapects of each episode of this adventure story.
