A representative study performed by Best Brands found that Michelin is one of the 10 best corporate brands in Europe. As part of the study, one of the most renowned market research institutes in Germany, Gfk Market Research conducted an online survey among 5,000 people spread across Spain, Italy England, France and Germany.
Commenting on the honor, Anish K Taneja, director of sales Michelin Germany, Austria and Switzerland said that it highlighted the high reputation that the Michelin brand and products enjoyed among customers in Europe. He added that it clearly validated Michelin’s marketing strategy and purpose and confirmed that Michelin would continue to focus on the needs of its customers.
At the award ceremony Michelin was represented by Claire Dorland-Clauzel, executive vice president, brands and external relations and member of the Michelin Group executive committee in addition to Taneja.

The Best Brands awards have been held on an annual basis from 2004 by the agency Serviceplan together with Die Zeit, GfK, Markenverband, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, Ströer SE and WirtschaftsWoche. The Best Brands awards include special awards for the Best Highest Growth e-Commerce Brand, Best Product Brand and Best Growth Brand in addition to awards for the Best Corporate Brand.
