Alliance Launches First Radial OTR Range under Galaxy brand

The Alliance Tire Group (ATG) used the recent Intermat exhibition in Paris to launch its first radial construction OTR tire range under its Galaxy brand. The range currently includes five tires – the HTSR 400 E4 and L4 for dump trucks; the LDSR 300 E3 and L3 for wheel loaders; and the MGSR 200 G2 for graders used on uneven surfaces.

The Galaxy HTSR 400 E4/L4 (size 29.5R25) tire which made its global debut in Paris is meant to be used in extreme environments and to handle heavy loads. It is highly durable and has been built with minimum heat build-up. Designed specially for use in dump trucks, the tire has high tread depth for greater protection against cuts and for consistent traction. It is made of a special compound so that there is minimum heat built-up even on long journeys. Features like use of special compound, deep tread and better cut and chip protection ensure that there will be minimum downtime. The tire is also available in sizes: 23.5R25, 26.5R25 as well as 29.5R25. Alliance is developing the tire in 750/65R25 size.

This new range of high performance OTR radial tires which will be sold as part of the Galaxy range promise to deliver higher productivity and profitability. The tires are also fashioned from special tread compounds so that they function smoothly for longer cycles with minimum heat build-up. The cut resistance carcass construction is another distinctive feature of these tires that will increase durability and reduce downtime.

Simone Hainz, product manager for Galaxy in Europe, said: “The introduction of the radial OTR aims to satisfy the request for a full fleet solution with a competitive pricing strategy.”
It is expected that the new range will be available in the third quarter of 2018 in “a range of the most popular sizes”.

At the Intermat exhibition, the Alliance Tire Group highlighted the new Galaxy LDSR 300 and Galaxy HTSR 400.Other popular Alliance tires which are best sellers in France were featured prominently at the company’s booth including the Galaxy Beefy Baby III for skid steers, the Hulk SDS which is a solid tire noted for its durability, the Galaxy Yardmaster Ultra which is billed as “the reliable partner for round the clock forklifts”, the all steel Alliance 624,radial tire which can release mud easily, the Alliance 528 Dual Master and the Alliance 392 high load capacity tire which offers high protection against cuts and punctures.

The Alliance Tire Group had recently won India’s Outstanding Export Performance award for the year 2015-16 from the Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES). And is one of the leading players in off road tires.
