Navistar has announced that the company has reached an agreement with Meritor, Inc to cobrand its Premium Brake Shoe Kits that are offered as part of the Fleetrite brand. The Fleetrite brand specializes in parts for heavy duty vehicles. Based on this latest agreement, about 50 part numbers will be labeled as Fleetrite Manufactured by Meritor.
Speaking about thie collaboration between the two companies, Joel Larsen, vice president of global parts product management, Navistar said that the agreement highlights Navistar’s ongoing collaboration with Meritor to develop and produce products of high quality that are also of value to customers. He added that the Fleetrite range has grown at a rapid pace due to the wide ranging acceptance among customers of Navistar’s brake component products. Customers know that they will get products they can rely on when they buy premium parts that have been produced by two of the most trusted names in the industry like ‘Fleetrite Manufactured by Meritor’ products which include products that will keep trucks and buses on the road for a longer time.
The Fleetrite range comprises quality maintenance and repair parts that have been designed for all major heavy- and medium-duty truck and bus applications. The products are distributed in almost all key markets spread across the world like Europe, Asia, United States, Canada and Mexico through International Truck Dealers and IC Bus Dealers.
