Motorsports is a sport in which even the quality of the smallest component can make a tremendous difference when it comes to the success of the team. For the fourth straight year, the drivers of the “tankpool 24” truck racing team, Norbert Kiss and André Kursim will be using MEYLE parts. They attest to the quality and durability of these parts as they prepare for the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. For the 2017 season, their trucks will have brake discs and pads, engine mounts and rpm sensors in MEYLE‑ORIGINAL quality as well as the MEYLE‑ORIGINAL clutch booster.
They know very well that even the smallest flaw can make a difference to the outcome of a race and hence to the Championship. During a race, there will be frequent gear changes. In racing vehicles, clutch boosters suffer exceptional wear. They should have the capability and quality to withstand extremely high loads.
For the first time this season, the “tankpool24” racing team will be using trucks that have been fitted with MEYLE‑ORIGINAL clutch boosters.
Stefan Honens, chief engineer of the “tankpool24” racing team said, “In our vehicles functionality, reliability and durability are paramount. On the race track the slightest flaw or failure can have serious consequences. Which is why we use as many MEYLE parts as possible. We know from experience that we can rely on them completely.”
