Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East has announced that it will be partnering with Spotify, which is the largest music streaming subscription service in the world. Spotify was launched in the MENA region on November 14th, 2018. Mercedes-Benz was the exclusive automotive sponsor for Spotify’s launch, and as an outcome of this collaboration, Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East will be able to connect with a highly-engaged demographic group who are passionate about music.
Mercedes-Benz Cars customers in the Middle East will now be able to access Spotify through Apple/Android CarPlay from the comfort of their car. When they use CarPlay, the drivers’ phones are integrated into the dashboard via Bluetooth. Thus, they can access a safer and more convenient way to listen to music while driving. Spotify will also make it possible for drivers to make calls and send messages and it is accessible through Mercedes-Benz’ pioneering in-car MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) system, which available in all 2019 models.

The partnership with Spotify attests to this as everyone in the industry prepares for a future where automobiles will be more than just a means of transport.
Spotify has over 191 million active users globally, and is the largest digital music subscription service in the world. It covers both local and international artists, genres, and tracks. Its launch in the Middle East will allow users to access billions of curated playlists for every mood and moment, which are customized to their own specific music tastes.
Spotify will be available via Apple/Android CarPlay in select 2019 Mercedes-Benz models including the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
