McLaren has launched a new range of carbon fiber accessories for owners of its Sport Series cars like the 650S, the 675LT and the MP4-12. The range includes a wide range of accessories including a front splitter, side skirts, mirror casings, a rear diffuser, a plenum cover and side intakes. When compared to their factory counterparts, these accessories are significantly lighter. High end accessories like the front splitter, rear bumper, and rear wing were developed by the brand’s McLaren Special Operations (MSO) team which specializes in designing aftermarket components and bespoke cars.
For the Sport Series cars, McLaren is offering forged alloy wheels with different finishes like silver, stealth, and diamond cut finishes. Customers can also choose from a wide array of colored and lightweight colored brake calipers to personalize their wheels.
Carbon fiber accessories include those for the cockpit like speaker surrounds, switch packs, IRIS infotainment system, sills, and side tunnels which are finished in lightweight material. Other accessories include colored seatbelts and a carbon fiber steering wheel with leather or Alcantara trim and extended shift paddles.
Those who do not want the carbon fiber accessories can still opt for indoor and outdoor vehicle covers and branded floor and luggage bin mats to make the interiors look good.
The accessories can either be fitted to a customer’s current car or added to an order by McLaren’s retailers.
