Hella has launched a new, free online portal in order to provide its customers worldwide with technical expertise and support. The site which is called Hella Tech World site can be used as a free resource by the technicians at workshops to get an advantage as it will serve to improve their technical expertise and in the long run help them to improve business by providing customers with better service. According to Hella, the portal was created with the intention of helping workshops to “future proof their businesses.” The site will be updated monthly with details of the latest range extensions, technical product information and Hella Online Training so that technicians have access to complete online support. Tech World will also have links to Hella’s online catalogues for its Hella, Behr Hella Service and Hella Gutmann Solutions ranges.
The portal will have briefing notes comprising detailed information on product features and specifications, and visitors to the site can download apps like the Eliver light comparison app and Behr Hella Services Compressor app.
Technicians can use the portal to update their general technical skills by accessing a wide range of practical technical training modules for lighting, electric and electronics and thermal management. The portal had detailed technical information, and a know-how tool with extensive details on how components work.
Such information can help technicians to identify faults more easily and rectify them. They also have the option of viewing technical clips and diagnostic tips to assist with the repairing process.
