Federal-Mogul Motorparts is celebrating the 120th anniversary of its Ferodo brand of premium braking Original Equipment and aftermarket products this year. The Ferodo brand was established in 1897 in Chapel-en-le-Frith in the United Kingdom, and was acquired by Federal-Mogul in 1998. Ferodo went on to become a key part of the company’s braking brand portfolio on a global basis, and especially in the Middle East. In the MENA region, Ferodo has a key presence in markets like the UAE, Morocco, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Cyprus, Lebanon, Algeria and Tunisia.

These brake pads were produced after five years of painstaking research which involved testing of over 1,500 materials tested and development of 25 new components.
