The Ford Mustang is still going strong 50 years after it was launched and is still thought of as an affordable model for those who would like to have their very own sports car. However, being affordable has meant that motorists have to settle for interiors that are pretty basic. This is where the Polish company, Carlex Design got a chance to showcase its expertise in design.
Carlex Design took on the project of customizing the interiors of a Ford Mustang GT convertible to make it a lot more desirable and convert it into one with interiors that are just as comfortable and luxurious as those of any premium vehicle.
The vehicle underwent a total makeover. The seats were wrapped in a combination of perforated leather and Alcantara with a cream finish. The front and back seats sport honeycomb quilting with black logos to match the exterior.
To add to the feeling of luxury, the leather treatment was also used on the steering wheel, the door panels, the armrests and some parts of the dashboard. The color-coordinated piping for the floor mats complete the look. Most of the plastic surfaces in the design have been covered with carbon fiber treatment to add to the sporty touch. The chrome accents on the circular air vents and on the door handles round off the customized model to make it a true stunner.
