Brembo Launches B-QUIET Lubricant for Automotive Aftermarket

Brembo has added a new lubricant named B-QUIET to its range of aftermarket products.

B-QUIET is a brake lubricant that is meant to be applied to the parts of the different components of the braking system which move or slide. These include the sliding surface of the calipers and the pads, the pins and the bushings.

The purpose of using Brembo B-QUIET lubricant is to reduce braking system noise and give the components greater protection from corrosion.

B-QUIET offers several notable benefits. It has a consistency that is not very pasty and hence it is easy to spread evenly on the baking plate. This helps to maintain its lubricating properties for a long time. The formulation comprises no metallic soaps and fatty acids. As it is oil-based, it is non-conductive, and this makes it ideal for use in vehicles with ABS systems. B-QUIET is also highly resistant to washing and to high temperatures and will hence last longer. It protects the parts of the braking system against corrosion.

The contact point between the caliper and the brake backing plate has to be thoroughly cleaned before before applying the product.

Brembo B-QUIET can be used not only for braking system components, but can also be used for compressors, centralized lubrication systems, seat guides and sliding sunroof guides, as well as battery contacts.
