Al Habtoor Motors Tyres, Batteries & Lubricants pision, the exclusive distributor for LUK Oil, is investing heavily this year with the LUK Oil brand across the UAE in a quest to provide clients with quality oil at competitive prices. Currently, the company is actively searching for dealers to sell LUK Oil across the region.
According to Neil Coolledge, General Manager of the Tyres, Batteries & Lubricants pision from Al Habtoor Motors, a variety of lubricants are available under the LUK Oil brand such as Full Synthetic, Semi Synthetic and Mineral oils as well as brake fluids, greases, ATF oils and manual gear oils.
LUKOIL is a key player in the Russian oil industry in the exploration, production, refining and marketing of petroleum products. The company was founded in 1991 by merging a group of oil and gas production companies located in the Western Siberian cities of Langepas, Urai and Kogalym. The initial letters of these cities were derived to form the acronym LUK.
Oil and lubricant production and sales are a vital part of the LUKOIL business. In 2005, LLK-International (LUKOIL Lubricants), a company 100% owned by LUKOIL, was established, and lubricants became an independent business unit.
As one of the largest oil companies in the globe, LUKOIL operates on the principle “From the Wellhead Down to the Gas Station”. This means that it is active in oil production and refining as well as wholesale and retail sale of the petroleum products.
LUKOIL Lubricants produces wide-ranging products that meet even the most advanced operating requirements and specifications of both Russian and foreign vehicle and equipment manufacturers. Today, the company controls the manufacture of over 40 percent of all lubricants produced in Russia, amounting to nearly 1.2 million tonnes, and markets these products in over 40 countries across the world.LUKOIL devotes substantial resources in the development of state-of-the-art technologies for the manufacture of lubricants and additives. In its inception, the company established a Science and New Technology Department responsible for the development of know-how technologies and formula for new types of premium quality lubricants that meet contemporary engineering demands. This work is carried out by company specialists in close partnership with Russian and world-leading scientific organizations. By investing in science, LUKOIL Lubricants targets to qualitatively enhance its product line and boost consumer demand for those products.
