Aeromotive, a leading player in fuel delivery systems and components has launched the company’s first range of brushless fuel pumps. They are designed specifically for vehicles having extremely high horsepower and deliver improved performance and efficiency especially in the case of ethanol-fueled, street/strip applications.
Aeromotive developed four new brushless pumps – the Brushless A1000, the Brushless Eliminator, the 3.5gpm and the 5.0gpm Gear Pumps after years of research and development. The company says its new brushless technology uses less power, creates less heat and minimizes the extent of wear and all these qualities are ideal for dual purpose applications which need a continuous duty fuel pump.
The four new brushless Aeromotive fuel pumps are available in three configurations namely, external in-line, direct drop-in replacement for any Aeromotive fuel cell, including those used for COPO, Cobra Jet or Drag Pak factory race cars and as complete fuel cells which are available in 6, 15 or 20 gallon capacities.
Commenting on the company’s new range of brushless fuel pumps, Steve Matusek, President of Aeromotive said that the main objective when designing the new fuel pumps was to keep the new pumps in the same size and shape so that they would be compatible with the Aeromotive fuel systems. This would make it possible for the company’s customers to upgrade their existing Aeromotive set-ups.
The Brushless A1000 and Eliminator come with the roller vane pumping mechanisms that Aeromotive is justly famous for and are no different from their previous versions, except that they now come with the latest electric motor technology. When compared to their conventional counterparts, these pumps provide more flow at higher pressure and are engineered to last a lifetime.
The Brushless A1000 External In-Line PN 11124 Direct Drop-in Upgrade PN 18023 Fuel Cells: 6gallon PN 18366, 15 gallon PN 18360 or 20 gallon PN 18361
The Brushless Eliminator External In-Line PN 11180 Direct Drop-in Upgrade PN 18024 Fuel Cells: 6gallon PN 18367, 15 gallon PN 18362 or 20 gallon PN 18363
For developing the brushless gear pumps, Aeromotive took what it learned from its range of mechanical spur gear pumps, and engineered the brushless pumps to work in a compact flow thru design. The outcome is a fuel pump that can move more fluid at pressures up to 150 psi, without a notable drop in flow resulting in the highest flowing electric fuel pump in the aftermarket.
3.5 GPM Brushless Gear Pump External In-Line PN 11181 Direct Drop-in Upgrade PN 18025 Fuel Cells: 6gallon PN 18376, 15 gallon PN 18370, or 20 gallon PN 18371
5.0 GPM Brushless Gear Pump External In-Line PN 11182 Direct Drop-in Upgrade PN 18026 Fuel Cells: 6gallon PN 18377, 15 gallon PN 18372, or 20 gallon PN 18373.
