It seems that the odds are in favor with ACDelco in the Middle East market. Just recently, the global brand has reported 29 percent increase of the annual sales of its maintenance-free car batteries, claiming that its sales last year equate to 40 percent of the vehicle battery market in the region.
According to Mohammed Al Fayyad, Director of Customer Care and Aftersales for General Motors, which owns the ACDelco brand, car batteries are a huge business in the Middle East and they saw this industry grow in 2015, and ACDelco was a powerful force behind this.
The company credits the result to the fact that its maintenance-free batteries are exclusively designed for the Middle East climate.
Al Fayyad continued that ACDelco’s popularity comes down to the fact that they manufacture spare parts and maintenance-free batteries for all makes and models, making it an easy choice for customers.
“It also comes down to trust. ACDelco will be celebrating its 100th birthday this year. A century is a long time to get to know your market and develop your products. Our customers trust that ACDelco is a leader in high-quality, reliable and genuine batteries, spare parts, and auto fluids.”
Al Fayyad looks forward to see further growth in the industry and ACDelco’s locally-made battery business, buoyed by the launch of new technologies.
