LEPAS, Chery Group’s new premium SUV brand, has launched in the UAE through exclusive distributor Al Ghurair Mobility. The L8, in plug-in hybrid and petrol versions, and the compact L4 are available now at a Deira showroom, with a service centre in Al Quoz and more locations planned.
The launch
LEPAS announced its UAE market entry in October 2026, with Al Ghurair Mobility as its exclusive distributor. The brand arrives with dedicated showrooms in Deira and Sharjah and a service centre in Al Quoz that provides full aftersales support. Both the L8 and the L4 are available now at the Deira showroom, and test drives and current offers are available at lepasuae.com. Abu Dhabi is next in the pipeline, with more aftersales locations to follow across the emirates.
LEPAS L8: the flagship
The L8 is the brand’s flagship SUV, offered in two versions:
- L8 Super Hybrid: a plug-in hybrid system claimed to deliver up to 1,300 km of combined range on a full tank and a full charge, designed to cut the number of stops on long UAE drives
- L8 ICE: the same design and driver-assistance suite with a conventional petrol powertrain
Both versions come with a Level 2 ADAS safety suite of more than 20 driver-assistance functions and an advanced self-parking system.
LEPAS L4: the compact option
The L4 brings the same design approach in a smaller package.
- Engine: a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission
- Cabin: a 13.2-inch central display and ventilated seats
- Safety: an ADAS driver-assistance package
What’s next
LEPAS will add the L6, a mid-size SUV with hybrid and petrol power, to the UAE range in 2027.

LEPAS describes its design language as “Leopard Aesthetics” and its philosophy as “Drive Your Elegance”. Ricky Mullins, head of business for LEPAS at Al Ghurair Motors, said the brand is built around elegance and a fashion-forward lifestyle, offering premium SUV design that makes refined living accessible. He said the company is committed to a brand experience from the showroom through to aftersales support.

LEPAS is a new brand from Chery Group, unveiled globally earlier this year. It is the third Chery brand Al Ghurair Mobility has taken on in the UAE, after EXEED and RELY.
What it means for UAE buyers
The 1,300 km range claim will draw attention, since it covers a Dubai to Abu Dhabi return trip and more on a full charge and full tank.
