Peugeot has launched a Valet Test Drive and Service program that would make it possible for potential customers to stay home and try out the company’s models. As part of the initiative, Peugeot will make arrangements for the cars to be brought to the front doors of customers so that they can stay at home and stick to social distancing guidelines.
Peugeot showrooms across the UAE have taken measures to protect customers and employees alike. As part of the firm’s customer-centric approach and its desire to provide them with a stress-free way to enjoy their models, Peugeot will provide valet test drive and remote maintenance services. Customers will thus get access to a whole new experience when it comes to owning a Peugeot right from the car purchase process to servicing their current model.
The company’s online presence includes a dedicated website uae.peugeot.com/valet-test-drive which customers can use to learn more about the car they would like to buy and to book a Valet Test Drive. Once they submit their contact details online, a sales executive would contact them to discuss the details of the model and the location and time when they would like the model that they are interested in to be delivered for a test drive.
The sales executive would bring the vehicle after it has been thoroughly sanitised, to the customer and give them an in-depth tour of the car, all while adhering to the social distancing and hygiene guidelines that are in place during the coronavirus pandemic. In the event that the customer is interested in proceeding further with the purchase, they would receive a personalized letter with the price breakdown to finalize the deal before the car is registered and delivered to the new owner.
Customers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates can also benefit from the Valet Service Program, as part of which they they can use the dedicated website uae.peugeot.com/services/valet-service to have their Peugeot vehicles serviced from the safety and comfort of their own home. Once they have made a booking on the site, the car is picked up and the service advisor calls them to discuss the details of the time needed and the cost of service. After the service is completed and the car is completely sanitized, it is delivered back to the customer.
Rakesh Nair, Managing Director at Groupe PSA in the GCC, commented: “It is difficult for everyone right now, however we are always determined to keep our customers well-served and safe, whether that be while buying the car or after the purchase has been done. The idea is to improve the process and customise car ownership, not only for current times, but for the future as well.”
