In recognition of the fact that mobility does not involve only cars, the newly renamed LA Auto Show introducing a new area to showcase all forms of personal mobility.
The technology and auto sectors are becoming increasingly interconnected and this will be evident at the LA Auto Show, which is scheduled to be held in November. The new floor space named “GO” is dedicated to all things mobile.
This will include skateboard, scooters, Honda’s Uni-Cub and all sorts of personal mobility devices. Visitors to the show, which will run from November 18 to November 27 will be able to enjoy virtual-reality demonstrations, and test drives to experience all aspects of mobility.
Many technology shows too have served as platforms to showcase new technological innovations in the auto industry. For example, Lincoln launched its MKZ in 2013 and MKC in 2014 at the GITEX show in Dubai. At the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, GM debuted its all-electric Bolt.
Other auto shows too will add floorspace for products from the tech world. The North American International Auto Show, which is popularly known as the Detroit and is one of the major shows in North America is adding AutoMobili-D, which will give auto companies a platform to showcase their vision for the future of mobility.
