Jaguar Land Rover Launches First Approved Used-car Facility in Dubai

Jaguar Land Rover extended its commitment to the UAE market by launching its first APPROVED used-car facility in Dubai. The state-of-the-art showroom, which was opened in collaboration with the company’s exclusive retailer in the UAE, Al Tayer Motors will have a wide range of APPROVED pre-owned vehicles and thus will seek to enhance and improve a customer’s experience. The facility is housed in an eco-friendly structure that is fitted with a 660KW solar rooftop generating system having the capability to provide power to the entire facility and even potentially generate power to give to the grid. It is Jaguar Land Rover’s biggest standalone, used-car showroom in the United Arab Emirates.

Commenting on the showroom, Lee Ashlin, Regional Pre-Owned Manager, Jaguar Land Rover MENA said that it is the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, and highlights the commitment of Al Tayer Motors and Jaguar Land Rover to delivering a premium pre-owned customer experience for the company’s vehicles. He added that the showroom would serve as a benchmark, not only for this region, but for its business globally.

Jaguar Land Rover’s new showroom has been built according to its new global retail design architecture, which debuted last year. The concept focuses on offering customers a dual brand retail environment that echoes the modern, striking design of the premium Jaguar Land Rover models.

The showroom effectively showcases Jaguar Land Rover’s latest vehicles and will seek to capitalise on the growing demand for used cars in the UAE. Great attention has been given to comfort and detail in the design of the APROVED Pre-Owned showroom, with a view to creating a complete new-car buying experience, in the stand alone showroom.

Ashlin said, “This approach demonstrates our commitment and loyalty to every single one of our customers. Thanks to this new facility, Al Tayer Motors and the Jaguar Land Rover brand will now be able to deliver a more premium customer experience and buying process that customers will remember. This includes dedicated handover bays, where customers take delivery of their newly purchased cars in a personalised area of the showroom.

The facility is a first in the MENA region for Jaguar Land Rover and the company has already unveiled plans for further expansion across the MENA region in the near future.

The showroom was formally inaugurated in July 2017, and is located near the Dubai Police General Department of Traffic, in the Al Barsha district, Dubai.
