Juma Al Majid Est., the exclusive distributor for Hyundai in the UAE, has officially launched the all-new Kona, the brand’s premium subcompact SUV in the UAE. The vehicle is meant for young drivers who are keen on active, fast-paced lifestyle.

Commenting on the launch, Mohammad Al Omari – Marketing Manager of Hyundai UAE said that Hyundai was excited to bring a renewed SUV to Hyundai customers in the region, as it offers them a new option in the case of those who are interested in a new way of driving. It is a lifestyle statement as it is meant for fashion conscious and upwardly mobile young drivers and complements Hyundai’s design-focused SUV range. It also provides drivers with unmatched technology and excellent value. When it comes to the exterior, the Kona has an expressive and powerful front of which the main feature is its Cascading Grille, the company’s family identity. The interior of the vehicle can be personalized with a choice of three colours — orange, lime, red. There is a head-up display which projects relevant driving information directly into the driver’s line of sight, and the driver’s perception of the traffic ahead is further enhanced by the floating navigation touchscreen.
The Hyundai Kona is one of the safest vehicles in its segment with Hyundai Smart Sense active safety and driving assistance systems. It has a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, thanks to safety features like Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning.
