Ford Trucks Showcases 2016 range at Big 5 Trade Fair

Ford Trucks has collaborated with its exclusive distributor in the UAE, Al Tayer Motors, to showcase its complete range of 2016 Model Year heavy commercial vehicles including a 1843 T tractor, a 3535M 6×4 chassis mixer and 4135M 8×4 chassis mixer at the Big 5 building and construction trade fair that will end today at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Ford Trucks had partnered with Al Tayer Motors to make an entry in the UAE market, opening new showrooms in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In the past year, the brand has made significant headway in the UAE heavy commercial vehicle market with sales of tippers, mixers and tractors.

Commenting on the brand’s growth plans in the region, Emrah Duman, Ford Trucks International Markets Director said that the Middle East is a priority region in Ford Trucks’ growth plans. Close on the heels of entering the UAE and Saudi markets last year, the company plans to expand into the Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Iraq markets with sales and service outlets. The company offers products that are far ahead of the competition, with different models to meet different needs in the market, like hot climate package that has been developed exclusively for the GCC region and complete truck solutions for all Middle East markets. This wide range of models will be backed by an expanded network of sales and service outlets that can provide customers with strong service support and spare parts availability in the near future.

Ford Trucks took the initiative to become the first heavy truck manufacturer to offer a 3 year/unlimited km standard warranty in the UAE. This new warranty terms will make competitive total cost of ownership of Ford Trucks highly attractive to customers in the UAE.

The Hot Climate Package has been customized for hot and dusty environments with increased air conditioner performance, improved radiator and filtration. The two-year development period for the Hot Climate Package involved rigorous vehicle durability tests including laboratory tests that simulate the region’s high temperatures, humidity and dusty conditions. It also involved extensive analysis of specific customer expectations and extensive road tests conducted in the region. The Hot Climate Package is offered across the entire product range for GCC countries.

Ford trucks have become the vehicles of choice for concrete plants and long haulage transportation operators in the region due to their high quality, durability, low initial investment and low operating costs. Popular Ford Trucks models, 1843T tractor, 3535M (6×4) and 4135M (8×4) mixer provide customers with the option to customize the transmission and cabin modules for both on road and off road conditions.

Tractors and construction vehicles are offered with 10 mm 500 Mpa chassis frame. The mixer series for construction applications are offered in 6×4 and 8×4 versions with 350 PS power engine. The mixer capacity ranges between 7.7 and 12.7 m3. 1843T tractor model is presented with a 10.3 liter 430 PS powerful engine with Euro 3 emission norms with standard ESP.
