Cedric Davy has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer at Bugatti of the Americas and will take over the role from Maurizio Parlato. Parloto is leaving after a six-year stint with the French hypercar manufacturer due to personal reasons. Davy will report to the Bugatti headquarters in Molsheim.
Commenting on the new appointment, Christian Mastro, Bugatti Board Member for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Licensing said, “We want to thank Maurizio Parlato for his work and dedication. Over the last six years he has been a valuable and highly respected colleague in our organization, and of course we wish him only the best for his new endeavors”.
He added that in Cedric Davy, the brand had found the ideal replacement from within Bugatti of the Americas. He lauded Davy’s experience in the automotive industry in general and with Bugatti in particular.
Cedric Davy is a veteran of the automotive industry and has almost two decades of luxury and super sport automotive experience. Before joining Bugatti, he had worked for other high-end automotive brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari and McLaren in either corporate roles or within the dealership organizations. Over the past three years, Cedric Davy had helmed Bugatti’s marketing strategy and activities in the North American market. From their office in Reston, Virginia, Bugatti of the Americas oversees the operations of 15 dealerships in the USA and Canada. For Bugatti, the US market is its single biggest market in terms of volume, with around 25 percent of all French hyper cars being sold here.
