The Chiron has proved to be an outstanding success with Bugatti recently celebrating the production and delivery of the 100th Chiron. After work was completed on the vehicle, it left “L‘Atelier“ at Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim, Alsace. It is at “L’Atelier” that Bugatti has been hand-crafting the Chiron from the time the company began making Chirons in 2016.
The 100th Chiron will be delivered to a customer from the Middle East who decided on a really attractive combination of colors and shades for his super sports car. The exterior skin of the car is fashioned completely from dark blue carbon, which sports a matte finish for the first time. The car is a study in contrasts with the iconic Bugatti side line in Italian red and the wheels in mink black. Red reigns supreme in the full-leather interior and the price of the car is about 2.85 million euros.
Commenting on the milestone, Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., congratulated the owner and said he found the 100th Chiron especially pleasing with its perfect combination of dynamism and elegance. He felt the car showcased Bugatti’s ability to produce highly individualized masterpieces of automobile craftsmanship that just cannot be matched.
Winkelmann went on to express his pride in the Bugatti team which makes truly extraordinary super sports cars with passion and professionalism on a daily basis.
Bugatti has received numerous orders for the Chiron and its production is running at full speed. Bugatti makes about 70 cars every year and only a total of 500 Chiron vehicles will be made.
