Al Tayer Launches Ferrari F8 Tributo in UAE

Al Tayer Motors, which is the official distributor of Ferrari vehicles in the UAE recently launched Ferrari’s latest model, the F8 Tributo at the luxurious Bulgari Hotel Yacht Club.

The F8 Tributo is positioned as a mid-rear-engined sports car that pays homage to the brand’s classic V8 engined two-seater Berlinetta.

Speaking at the launch, Raid Abusitta, Vice-President – Sales, Ferrari at Al Tayer Motors said that the Ferrari F8 Tributo has been a sensation since it was launched at the Geneva Motor Show.

The F8 Tributo sets new benchmarks with regard to performance, driving pleasure and ease of handling. It makes the performance what is arguably the best 8-cylinder in the world accessible to all drivers, with its outstanding ride comfort and unprecedented handling.

The F8 Tributo offers a massive 720 cv and a record specific power output of 185 cv/l. Thus, it is the most powerful V8 engine to be seen in a non-special series Ferrari, thus setting a new record not just for turbo engines, but for engines across the board.

The turbo-charged V8 has already proved to be a winner when used in other models in the range with various power output levels. It won the “Best Engine” accolade in the International Engine of the Year awards for three straight years in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2018, it also won the coveted title of the best engine of the last two decades.

The F8 Tributo delivers its 720 cv without any sign of turbo lag and produces an amazing sound. Its instantaneous power is matched by exceptional handling that is the outcome of aerodynamics solutions derived from Ferrari’s experience on the track.

The F8 Tributo was designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre and symbolizes a new design language that highlights Ferrari’s key characteristics of high performance and extreme aerodynamic efficiency. The F8 Tributo is said to be the most aerodynamically efficient series-production mid-rear-engined berlinetta ever designed.

The F8 Tributo serves as the replacement for the 488 GTB and is the model having the highest performance in the range. The model features significant improvements that provide the driver with even better control as well as greater on-board comfort.

When compared to the 488 GTB, the F8 Tributo punches out 50 cv more, is 40 kg lighter and also offers a 10 percent improvement in aerodynamic efficiency along with the latest version of the Side Slip Angle Control, now in 6.1 form.
