Al Tayer Brings Special Edition 2019 Ford Expedition ‘Turath’ to the UAE

Al Tayer Motors, which is the official importer-dealer for Ford vehicles in the UAE, has launched a special edition version of the full-size 2019 Ford Expedition SUV called ‘Turath’.

Helal Hanei Omar, Senior Vice-President – Ford, Al Tayer Motors. Said that “Turath” is the  Arabic word for heritage and pays homage to the UAE, which serves as a symbol of peace, modernity and tradition in the Arab world. Ford was inspired by the ‘Year of Tolerance’ to customize and design the Ford Expedition in-house and thus reflect the country’s proud heritage – its modernity, tolerance and spirit of youth.

Externally, the Turath sports the colors of the UAE flag – a horizontal strip in red and black which runs across the vehicle’s side on its belt line, and towards the rear, the vehicle bears the name Expedition and the UAE flag. A badge that outlines the country’s map in the colours of the UAE flag, and the name ‘Turath’ are featured on the tailgate while the C-pillar has an emblem featuring the iconic image of the UAE’s founding fathers with the UAE flag.

The finishing touches to the interior include black gloss painted alloy wheels, exterior mirrors, as well as front and rear bumpers. The interior features the emblem of the UAE’s founding fathers with the UAE flag embroidered on the headrests of the comfortable front seats and the passenger side of the dashboard.

The Ford Expedition Turath is now available at all showrooms of Al Tayer Motors in Dubai at Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi.
