Arlanxeo, a leading player in the field of performance elastomers plans to showcase the latest developments they have made related to high-performance tire solutions at the 2020 edition of the Tire Technology Expo which is scheduled to be held from February 25 to February 27 in Hanover, Germany.
Two experts from the company are also scheduled to make presentations at the conference regarding advancements in the material science sector. One is David Hardy, Technical Service and Development Manager at Arlanxeo who will present test results of two functionalized SSBR grades – Buna FX 5000 and Buna FX 3234A-2. These tests were run to compare them to standard SSBR grades Buna VSL 3038-2HM and VSL 2438-2HM. Hardy will also discuss how these SSBRs performed when used in actual tires and tested when compared to their performance in conventional laboratory tests.
Another Arlanxeo expert who will be speaking at the conference is the company’s Technical Manager, Dr Kilian Wüst who will make a presentation on recent developments for functionalized butadiene rubbers and their effects on critical tire properties.
