You are never too old for model cars. And if the models you want are those replicating a historic championship victory, all the better. In 2016, Ford won the grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans race, repeating a feat it had achieved 50 years ago, in 1966.
In order to celebrate the historic occasion and to highlight its association with the world of racing, Ford has made Lego models of the two racers that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans races.
Now, even drivers who do not yet have a license can enjoy Ford’s flair for automotive detail. The kit includes bricks to build models of both the models – the 1966 winner and the championship car of 2016. Replicas of racing drivers, a checkered flag, and even a trophy make this kit a must for every automotive enthusiast.
