Xiaomi Cars Are Officially in the UAE: SU7 From AED 169,900, Prices, Range and Delivery Dates

The smartphone giant that set a Nürburgring lap record is now selling cars in the UAE. Xiaomi’s electric lineup has officially launched through Gargash Prime Automotive, ending the days of grey-market imports with no local warranty. Bookings are open now, and the first deliveries are planned for December 2026.

Quick Highlights

  • Three models: SU7 sedan, YU7 SUV and SkyNomad range-extender SUV
  • Prices start at AED 169,900 (SU7), AED 184,900 (YU7) and AED 209,900 (SkyNomad)
  • Official warranty of up to 5 years or 150,000 km, with servicing up to 60,000 km
  • Leasing from AED 3,899 per month
  • First deliveries in December 2026, with most other trims in February 2027

Who Is Selling Them?

Xiaomi cars are being sold by Gargash Prime Automotive, the new premium arm of the Gargash Group, a business that has operated in the UAE since 1918. Until now, buyers who wanted an SU7 or YU7 had to import one privately or buy from a grey-market dealer, with no official warranty or service network. You can book online or at the Gargash Prime booth in Etihad Mall, Al Khawaneej, Dubai.

Meet the Lineup

Xiaomi SU7 (sedan): The entry SU7 Standard has 320hp, a claimed 720 km of range and reaches 100 km/h in 5.28 seconds. At the top sits the SU7 Ultra, a three-motor, 1,548hp performance sedan with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 1.98 seconds.

Xiaomi YU7 (SUV): This is the family-friendly option. The range runs from the 320hp YU7 Standard to the 1,003hp YU7 GT, which costs AED 299,900.

Xiaomi SkyNomad (range-extender SUV): It pairs a 52 kWh battery with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that only generates electricity, so the wheels are always driven electrically but you do not have to plan trips around chargers. The top N90 versions claim up to 1,705 km of combined range. The N90 Studio even offers a camping setup with a roof tent.

Important: all range figures use China’s CLTC test cycle, which is more optimistic than real driving. Treat them as a ceiling, especially in UAE summer heat.

Fast Charging and Technology

The entry SU7 and YU7 share a 73 kWh LFP battery on an 800V platform. Gargash Prime says it charges from 30% to 80% in about 18 minutes on the SU7 and about 20 minutes on the YU7 at a fast DC charger. Both come with Xiaomi’s HAD driver assistance with lidar, the HyperOS cabin and over-the-air updates.

Is the “Faster Than a Porsche” Claim True?

In one specific way, yes. In 2025 the production SU7 Ultra lapped Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes 4.957 seconds, beating the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT’s 7:07.55 and becoming the fastest production electric car on that circuit at the time. It is a lap record, not a claim that it beats Porsche in every situation.

Buy or Lease?

Gargash Prime also offers leasing on all three models, starting at AED 3,899 a month for the SU7 Standard, AED 4,199 for the YU7 Standard and AED 4,699 for the SkyNomad N70 Pro. Leasing can suit buyers who are unsure about long-term resale values, but compare the total cost with buying before you decide.

Final Thoughts

With official pricing, a local warranty and a dealer network, Xiaomi has made its biggest move yet in the UAE. The real test will be after-sales service once the first cars arrive in December. Would you drive a car from a phone brand? Tell us in the comments.
