Bentley has launched the new Bentayga V8 Design Series, a new take on what Bentley calls the most luxurious SUV in the world. The series comes with exclusive new colour combinations that have been designed specifically for customers in the Middle East.
The Design Series offers blends of unique Mulliner exterior and interior features in tandem with a range of current Bentayga options, to create a special edition series that is highly desirable.
The special edition V8 design series is handcrafted in Crewe, England and is derived from the Bentayga V8 which has already proved to be quite popular. It joins a range that has created quite a splash with variants like the Bentayga Speed and the Bentayga Hybrid.
The Design Series further amplifies the Bentayga’s elegant design and sporty stance, while offering the highest levels of performance and luxury. Some of the new features seen in the series include Self Levelling Wheel Badges and Palladium Grey Paragon alloy wheels. When it comes to the interiors, features that are offered for the first time include an all-new carbon fibre weave and Duotone colour palette in addition to the accent design line colour split Beluga, Hotspur, or, Newmarket Tan main hide seats and a stylish Breitling clock sporting a face made of mother of pearl.
Contemporary and Dynamic Road Presence
The Bentley Bentayga already has an elegant presence and the Design Series takes this further with a more athletic stance that creates a more contemporary and dynamically striking appearance.
The V8 series has a Bentayga Blackline specification included as standard and these includes features like a body-coloured lower front bumper apron and twin gloss black tailpipes to showcase the vehicle’s uniques exhaust sound. The special edition aspect is highlighted with Discreet Design Series badging on the lower front doors.
The New Mulliner Paragon wheels have a seven-spoke design, that is finished in a dark metallic Palladium Grey with polished accents. Another new feature is the unique, Mulliner Self Levelling Wheel Badge, meaning that the ‘B’ for Bentley badge centers continue to maintain a vertical orientation even as the wheels rotate, due to the use of a sophisticated weighting mechanism.
Unique and Luxurious Cabin
When it comes to the exterior, the Bentayga Design Series offers a Duotone interior palette comprising six colorful and inspiring themes – Pillar Box Red, Orange, Mulliner White and Klein Blue all themed around the core Beluga hide. The Middle East edition offers two additional color combinations – Mulliner White around a Hotspur main hide and Linen around a New Market Tan main hide.
For the first time in the case of the Bentayga, Mulliner has introduced a new contrast design line accent colour split which involves the use of a vivid, high contrast color in the front of the cabin around the console and dashboard lower accent areas. Vehicles in the Design Series have Duotone seat center perforations both in the front and rear.
Bentley created the all-new carbon fiber weave used in the dashboard and doors especially for the Bentayga Design Series. It comprises a complex diamond quilted pattern having a rich glossy finish. In the case of the console and the center fascia, a Piano Black finish has been used, which complements the tonal interior and distinctive design theme.
Minimalist Duotone embroidery which replicates the exterior Design Series badge is used on seatbacks all through the cabin while deep pile floor mats with contrast binding add to the luxurious look. The dashboard has at its center an elegant diamond jewelled Breitling clock, with light mother of pearl face.
Passengers in the vehicle receive a warm welcome thanks to the ‘Bentley’ illuminated treadplates, while a Front Seat Comfort specification and drilled alloy sports pedals and footrest are also standard features.
