Continental, the premium German tire manufacturer has announced the arrival of the first batch of the brand’s all-new Generation 6 tire range which has been specifically designed for the Middle East market. The German tire manufacturer’s aim is to service up to 40 percent of the region’s tire market. With the launch of these tires, motorists in the region get access to a selection of strong tires which have been designed to cope with the road conditions found across the region.
The Generation 6 tires comprise 60 different sizes across three distinct product lines and have been dispatched from Europe directly to the markets across the Middle East region. They include ComfortContact 6 for smaller cars and city driving, UltraContact 6 for larger sedans and MaxContact 6 for high performance vehicles. Customers can thus choose from a wide range of options as they will benefit from a unique combination of local expertise and German technology for all kinds of vehicles ranging from small to high performance cars. They can experience unmatched levels of comfort and robustness suitable for the driving conditions faced by motorists in the region.
The Generation 6 tires have undergone intense safety checks to ensure that they are one of the safest ranges of tires on the market. This is in line with Continental’s Vision Zero goal of eliminating fatalities, injuries and accidents on the roads.
Every new Continental product is tested intensively before it goes into production. Continental uses and develops more and more advanced-testing measuring technology to deliver matured and optimised products and thus ensures it delivers only the safest, most comfortable and reliable mobility solutions.
Speaking about the Middle East launch of Generation 6 tires, Jose Luis de la Fuente, Managing Director of Continental Middle East, said that the region has proved to be a key market for Continental from the establishment of the brand’s regional office in 2015. With the arrival of the first tire range that has been designed exclusively for the region in the Middle East, he expressed his confidence that customers will benefit from the performance and robustness of Generation 6 tires as they tackle some of the toughest terrains and challenging driving conditions of the region.
The sturdy design of the new Generation 6 range will ensure that the tire will have a longer life as it will have higher resistance to dangers like debris, potholes and kerb impacts. All of Continentals tires incorporate the latest technological advances for providing them with better handling and braking, enhanced grip, and quieter, more comfortable rides.
