Forgeline Introduces GF3 and GF3 Open-Lug Wheels

Forgeline Motorsports will soon launch its new GF3 and GF3 Open Lug wheels for club racing and autocross competition use. While both wheels feature Forgeline’s three-piece construction that give them superior strength, their unique design is a twist on the classic five-spoke design. The GF3 and GF3 Open-Lug wheels incorporate I-beam have been designed specifically for tolerating the stresses of competitive driving and incorporate technology to minimize weight while adding strength and rigidity. 
 
The GF3 and GF3 Open Lug wheels are made by Forgeline’s traditional forging method which uses 6061-T6 aluminum with heat-treated rim shells. Like other Forgeline wheels, both versions of the GF3 offer customers the option of fully-customizable fitment and finish, including center-lock applications. These competition-tested wheels are available with a stepped lip in 18-inch, 19-inch, and 20-inch sizes in a wide variety of widths and offsets. To make cleaning of the wheels easier and to ensure a smooth and clean appearance, hidden ARP assembly hardware is used on the GF3 and GF3 Open Lug.
 
The Open-Lug version of the GF3 has additional material machined from the center area for better access to the lugs and has been designed for additional weight reduction and exceptional strength,.
